Forensic Psychology

Forensic Psychology comes into play when we talk about the integration of the science of human behaviour and the law. The field has witnessed immense growth in recent years and behaves as an essential source of information in the legal context, including criminal courts, juvenile, family, and civil courts. When dealing with the minds behind the crime, we assume that some people are ‘born criminals.’ To identify the causes of crime, there are various criminological theories. These theories suggest that there are identifiable differences between offenders and non-offenders. The experts working in forensic psychology are the clinical psychologists, school psychologists, neurologists, or counsellors who lend their psychological expertise to provide testimony, analysis, or recommendations in civil and criminal cases.
